01Our commitment

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA across this website. Accessibility is treated as part of building a page properly, not a pass at the end — the same standard we apply to the sites we build for clients.

02What we have built in

• Keyboard access: every interactive element — navigation, mega menu, filters, gallery lightbox, chat widget — is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring.
• Skip link: a “skip to content” link is the first focusable item on every page.
• Semantic structure: real headings, landmarks and lists, so screen readers can navigate by structure.
• Reduced motion: animations, marquees and the typing prompt are disabled when your system requests reduced motion.
• Text alternatives: meaningful images carry descriptions; decorative ones are hidden from assistive technology.
• Contrast and sizing: body text and interface colours are chosen for contrast, and the layout reflows without horizontal scrolling down to small screens.

03Known limitations

We would rather list these than pretend they do not exist:

• Some illustrative sections use placeholder portrait images from a third-party service; they are decorative and hidden from screen readers, but they are not client photography.
• PDFs or documents supplied by third parties may not meet the same standard as the site itself.
• Embedded third-party tools — maps, booking widgets, chat from other vendors — are only as accessible as their provider makes them. Where we control the choice, we choose the accessible option.

05How we assess

We test with keyboard navigation, browser zoom to 200%, automated checks during development, and screen-reader spot checks on key journeys. This statement is reviewed when the site changes materially.
